Shark Story: Kile Kropko (12)

Taylor Sanfillippo, Staff Writer

Kile Kropko is a senior here at Santiago and the ASB President. In his free time, he enjoys playing baseball, hiking, editing videos, and mountain biking. His favorite food is Miguel’s bean, rice and cheese burrito. His favorite event Santiago puts on is homecoming. Kile’s biggest accomplishment here at Santiago is being able to reach out to more students by being ASB President and having the opportunity of being on Shark TV.

Kile was elected ASB President by being super creative with slogans and campaign ideas. Most of the students at Santiago are familiar with the campaign slogan “I’m in love with the Kropko” or “Major key.” These were created by Kile Kropko, which allowed him to win as ASB President. Kile claims that his biggest obstacle freshmen year was being intimidated and also being a fairly small person. His best advice is “never losing yourself within everybody else, keep doing you.” This year Kile would like to make Prom 2017 a night to remember, along with making some pretty cool senior recap videos.

After high school, Kile would like to attend 1 of 3 schools, Cal Poly Slo, UCI, or Cal Poly Pomona where he will major in computer science. After college, Kile wants to become a software engineer at Google. Kile would like everyone to know that he is super open-minded and easy to talk to. If you are wanting to interview him or talk to him about anything, he’s here to help.
