Trump’s Executive Orders

Trumps Executive Orders

Shortly after the new president’s inauguration, he methodically demonstrated hatred and bigotry at its finest by randomly prohibiting Muslim citizens from certain seven countries that have reported the fewest amounts of terrorism if any at all. He has also instituted reform policies that comprehensively negate the advancements established by universal American health care (more commonly known as Obamacare). As egregious as these policies may seem, there are numerous arguments that fervently support such ideals from this politically inexperienced businessperson. Despite all of the traditionalist claims that have supported Trump, the consensus is still in support of the modern, humanitarian views, which have demonstrated their opposition through a multitude of global protests and marches.

Typically, most American citizens have vehemently opposed these orders by devising civil trends such as the social media hashtag entitled #NotMyPresident but there is some good to come from this presidency. Because Trump is envisioning to be a “self-made man”, he will persuade his cabinet as well as the other branches of government to be in the favor of businesses and institute new policies that will be proportionate to President Rutherford Hayes’s economic ideals. These future economic policies will generate a greater sum of wealth due to the expedited production of new jobs especially in the fields of corporate businesses. Although Trump intends to deprive illegal immigrants of such jobs, he will benefit to the general American masses by providing unemployed citizens with these occupations. Primarily, these ideals are what elected Trump to be president due to the sudden rise of immigrants receiving jobs that traditionalist desire. Trump developed a policy that further substantiates this controversial political statement by wrongfully banning Muslim refugees (from Syria, Iran, Iraq, Somalia, Libya, Sudan, and Yemen) from seeking refuge on American soil. This ban was implemented to prevent the flooding of immigrants from these countries from overpopulating America because over 500,000 refugees have been affected by this ban. Numerous politicians, celebrities, civil workers, and humanitarians in general have opposed this policy since a plethora of other countries have refused the admittance of such people into their country; comprehensively, this scenario is highly unfortunate for such people because their governments refuse to aid them/ end their barbaric actions due to their traditionalist views.

In contrast, Trump’s immigration policies have produced very negative results. Trump intends to make his ideal of a wall separating Mexico and America to come into reality, which will cost over billions of US tax-paying dollars since Mexico refuses to provide for such an idiotic portrayal of hatred. Trump desires to fulfill such a nightmare in order to prevent “rapists” and “drug dealers” from entering the country despite the fact that most of these criminals are from the nation that he loves the most. It is saddening to see such toxic antics to be considered as beneficial ideals that will build up a new “great” nation. The majority of the American youth, democrats, and celebrities have united in opposition to such ideals through the media. #NotMyPresident began upon his election day from such policies and are still circulating to this very moment. Shia Labeouf and Jaden Smith have devised the greatest presidential protest by creating a website in which displays a livestream that will last throughout Trump’s first term. Adding on to Trump’s list of controversial claims, he publically stated how he perceives women to be subordinate, gross creatures that don’t deserve to be treated in the same way as men. Which is downright idiotic and unjustifiable since women throughout the birth of the nation have socially (and at times politically) constructed this nation through influences like republican motherhood (national expectation of women to teach their children about the basis of republicanism and the importance of it, effectively developing better politically versed citizens). In addition, fervently supported abolitionist (national demonstrations to ban slavery) and civil rights movements. Women and men across the globe marched in protest of Trump, which also proves that they are capable of becoming a monumental force greater than traditionalist groups. In a more optimistic perspective, Trump is one of few presidents to unite effectively a huge population of people with a common agenda.

Overall, this presidency has currently created more negatives that than nation rather than positives. Numerous republicans are despising the fact that they elected such a man due to the removal of the benefits that Obama granted them during his presidency. Hopefully, President Trump has a reassuring wake-up call that will force him to realize that each of his policies that have been based upon hating a certain ethnicity or religion are comprehensively driving the nation down a road of violence that can only have negative outcomes. God Bless America.
