After living in the Maze, the Gladers escape and are brought to a safety camp. Unfolding WCKD’s diabolical plan, the Gladers escape into the Scorch bringing “The Maze Runner: Scorch Trials” into theaters.
Once the premiere of “Scorch Trials” came closer and closer, many fans were making their way into cinemas to watch the new movie. Though many looked forward to it, there were some pros and cons. The movie didn’t follow some scenes in the book. However, the movie did stay along the lines of the plot. Critics weren’t as pleased with the movie though. It received a rating of 51% from critics. Although the critics didn’t find the movie very promising, 67% of the audience enjoyed it. It must be mentioned that the special effects on the desolated cities weren’t as convincing as the new obstacles, the Cranks. Though the Cranks were more like Zombies in the movie, they were just as frightening.
The acting from everyone involved is amazing. “Scorch Trials” was about Thomas (Dylan O’Brien) and his fellow Gladers escape WCKD and try to survive the Scorch. The group of Gladers comes across new acquaintances in the Scorch while trying to find The Right Arm, a resistance army. “Scorch Trials” and “The Maze Runner” were both amazing movies; hopefully the following movies won’t be a downfall.
