Ava Kavanagh
Ava Kavanagh (12), a current senior at Santiago High School, is the 2020-2021 Arts & Entertainment editor. She has always strived to play an active role in her community by joining various clubs and programs; such as cheer in her underclassmen years, and journalism and sports-med in her upperclassmen years. She plans on attending a 4-year college program in fall of 2021 to pursue a career in biology. And when Ava is not seen cramming in her homework at midnight, you can probably find her reading, drawing, or watching movies (specifically the rom-com and coming-of-age variety). Although much of her goals and dreams in college remain a mystery to her, as an editor she hopes to create an environment in which the Santiago Shark Staff can provide easy and entertaining news for the Santiago students and parents.
