ASB welcomed back Santiago’s students with an intergalactic trip to showcase the school’s winter sports teams the second week after winter break. Izzi Volonte (12) and Troy Lankard (11) dressed as aliens and presented each team and group.

This season, ASB tried out the game of Tic Tac Toe during first rally but it never appeared in the second one. Other than that drumline brought back their battle sequence from the Star Wars Rally of the 2016-2017 school year that past students were psyched about. Black Seamen (and women) didn’t get as much time for their routine as per usual which did get the students in the stands… but dance, hip hop, cheer, and color guard stepped up to the plate with amazing performances all around.

Girl’s volleyball, guy’s and girl’s wrestling, guy’s and girl’s basketball, guy’s and girl’s waterpolo, and guy’s and girl’s soccer all appeared to show the school their highlights from this season so far and announce their upcoming games. The music playlist was full of crowd favorites.
