Mother Shocked at Reply Towards a Note Given to Her Child from Daycare Worker
November 18, 2019
On November 11, 2019, Francesca Easdon was taken by surprise upon discovering a reply on the note she gave her five-year-old son while he was in Rocking Horse Day Care in Kingwood, Texas.
The Texas mother sent an endearing note in son Kyler’s lunchbox, kindly asking his daycare sitter to tell him “his mommy loves him so much”. It was an innocent note, but to his mother’s shock, the note was sent back home with a reply written at the bottom from the daycare worker stating, “NO! Put him on a diet and GO AWAY!”
Shocked and upset, Easdon took the matter into her own hands and posted a picture of the note with the horrid reply to her personal Facebook page, with her comment on how she has been “introducing new healthy options in his lunchbox and discussed the changes with his school” regarding her situation with the daycare.
In continuation with her post, Francesca Easdon also mentioned that she “feel[s] that Kyler is absolutely perfect the way he is, I’m just helping him make healthier choices. Instead of his school being supportive, I am in absolute shock at what happened.”
Eason has also updated that the daycare worker who stated the comment on the note was fired and showed no remorse for the actions that had taken place. The child’s mother expressed her feelings towards the worker’s lack of shame by stating that she is “disgusted that I put my trust in these people to care for my child and this is what I get in return.”
The child has since been removed from Rocking Horse Day Care and has been enrolled in a different school.
