One of the privileges that comes with being an upper classman is the ability to obtain an off-campus pass. The ring of the bell beckons students to enjoy off-campus fast food for lunch during the school day, providing an opportunity to leave campus for a given amount of time.
Off-campus passes must be renewed every semester and can be purchased at the Shark Shop before school, after school or during lunch. They cost $15 with ASB and $10 without. Passes will be available for purchase starting the first week of second semester.
Before students can be awarded this privilege, they must first qualify for a few requirements regarding grades and attendance. All students in possession of a pass are not allowed to have any F’s. Attendance is also a factor and students who are frequently truant will be denied a pass. Additionally, if a student is caught attempting to sneak anyone off campus or abusing their pass, it will be revoked and must be surrendered to campus supervisors immediately.
