What happened to this boy?
A 6-year-old boy was killed by his landlord. The boy was killed because he and his mother were Muslim. The boy’s name was Wadea Al-Fayoum. He was six years old. He was stabbed 26 times. The mother’s name is Hanaan Shahin, and she is 32 years old. She was stabbed over 12 times, but she survived in the hospital. The boy did not stay in the hospital. The landlord attacked them because they were Muslims. The man who killed the boy his name is Joseph Czuba. He is 71 years old. When the man attacked them, he told them, ‘You Muslims must die. ‘This attack happened because of the war that was going on between Israel and Hamas.‘ This also happened because of their faith. The boy was killed in Chicago, Illinois.
The man was charged with so many things because of this crime. He was charged with charged with first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, two counts of hate crimes, and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. The boy was killed a few days after his birthday. The boy’s father says, “I’m here as the father of a child whose rights were taken from him. ” This was a hate crime. The family moved to America to live, learn, and pray peacefully. The victims were targeted because they were Muslim and the ongoing Middle Eastern conflict involving Hamas and Israel. When President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden heard what happened to this little boy, they were very shocked and sickened. Joe Biden says, “This horrific act of hate has no place in America and stands against our fundamental values.” The family lived on the house’s grounds for two years without issues. The man also tried to choke the woman and attacked her with the knife. The family says, “We are not animals; we are humans. We want people to see us as humans, to feel us as humans, to deal with us as humans because this is what we are. ” The Muslims think that this is a worst nightmare.
The hate crime does not make anything better. This will send more fear to the Muslims, Arabs, and Palestinians. This can cause the war to become even more significant. This is causing hate crimes even more. Muslims have gotten bomb threats at schools and other places. In some states, the portal has been covering Jewish grave sites and schools. Kids in the United States are scared to go to school because of what happens. This can cause conflict in school with people who are or aren’t Muslim. This has increased threats to many people. The boy and his felt like America would be a safe place for them to stay. The agents think they have to take more action in such situations. The Muslims receive racist statements.
The boy loved everybody; he loved his toys; he loved anything with a ball, basketball, or soccer; he loved to color; he loved to swing around; he loved his parents; he loved his family and friends; he loved life. The boy wanted to live a happy and healthy life. The boy knew what was going on in the world, but he ultimately got killed because of what was going on.
