There have been many famous YouTube couples and families over the past few years, and one of the most famous ones was the Ace Family. This included Austin McBroom, Catherine Paiz, and their three children- Elle, Steel, and Alaia. His family was one of the most popular on YouTube, and they seemed to have been very interesting and stable, but everyone was wrong after all…
In 2016, the Ace family became very involved and popular on social media. They became well-known for their pranks, challenges, and vlogs. After this, Catherine came out as pregnant with the first of their three children. After she had her first child with Austin, they’ve vlogged much more throughout their marriage.
Throughout the years, the Ace family Gained earnings, merchandise sales, And even brand sponsorships, which made them way more noticeable and popular. Everything seemed to be going really well for the family financially and even mentally, but things started to spiral.
On January 11th, 2024, Catherine and Austin announced to their 18+ million fans that they were getting a divorce. People were excited and shocked at this statement as everything seemed to have been going at length for the family. They divorced because of social media impacting their relationship. Catherine stated that “our paths as a couple have shifted and created irreconcilable differences. This decision comes with a weighty heart”, Catherine had posted.
Now, you would think they would handle this maturely and privately with each other, but instead, it was more of a mess. Austin started to act very oddly, which concerned the audience with the content he posted alone.
One of the weird things he decided to post was him whimpering in a cowboy hat on Snapchat. This wasn’t even the end of it. Austin posted over 40 Snapchat posts almost every single day after their divorce. Now, one of the main posts everyone talked about was about him being extremely dramatic about having a fever. He did not want to leave the house, and Catherine was taking care of him as he was posting dramatically whimpering and complaining that he was almost dying over this illness/sickness. People were stunned because he was a grown man acting like a little boy crying for his mother. People assumed he did this because he couldn’t accept that their divorce was happening, that Catherine was moving on, and that he would have to leave the house sooner or later. Austin didn’t know what to do with himself as he posted the most random, unnecessary videos. There was even a video of him in a CVS arguing with a guy Who asked Austin while he was recording, “Don’t you live in an RV?” and Austin clapped back, saying how that guy works at a CVS and shouldn’t be talking. So many people had opinions on the subject and were not treating Austin the best based on what he was posting and what was happening, so everything fell apart.
Will Austin get his life together, or will it just keep crumbling down…?
