On the 7th of Tuesday earlier this month, Reality TV stars Janelle and Kody’s 25-year-old son Garrison Brown were found dead.

What/who are the Sister Wives?

Janelle and Kody were “spiritually” married from 1993 until 2022. They are also the parents of Logan, Madison, Hunter, Gabriel, and Savannah. Kody and Janelle were a polygamist family until all his wives, Meri, Christine, and Janelle, left him, except Robyn Brown, who is his only remaining wife. They began their hit reality TV show called “Sister Wives”  on September 26, 2010, and have been running for 14 years and currently has 18 seasons. The show’s premise is essentially what it is like to be in a polygamist relationship and have sister wives. Additionally, it takes a look at the children’s lives. It showcases Garrison Brown’s love for cats and how he supported his local shelter, in response fans all across the country have been donating to Animal shelters in honor for Garrison. The shelter also honored Garrison by naming their cat adoption room after Garrison.

What happened to Garrison Brown?

Garrison was reportedly 25 and died from a self-inflicting gunshot and was found at his home in Arizona, according to the Flagstaff police department. Officers arrived at the scene after receiving a service call regarding a suicide in Garrison’s apartment. The police report explained that ..It was obvious that Robert had been deceased for a significant period; therefore, no lifesaving efforts were performed.” The roommates told police officers that they had heard a loud “pop” sound that previous Monday night but thought nothing of it, resulting in them not checking on Garrison. The following morning Janelle contacted family members to check on Garrison after previously receiving concerning messages from Garrison in a group chat days before with people who work with his family stating “I want to hate you for sharing the good times. But I can’t. I miss these days.” After Janelle shared a brief conversation with Garrison, until he became unresponsive by text, so she contacted the family group chat to check up on him when his youngest brother, Gabriel Brown, volunteered to check up on him, which is when he found Garrison unresponsive and deceased in his room.

A few days later Kody and Janelle (parents of Garrison) released a joint statement on social media after the news broke stating: Kody and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy Robert Garrison Brown,” they wrote. “He was a bright spot in the lives of all who knew him. His loss will leave such a big hole in our lives that it takes our breath away. We ask that you please respect our privacy and join us in honoring his memory.” People all over were devastated by the situation.
