A lot of talk is going around on TikTok about a surgeon who isn’t as good as they seem… The surgeon, Doctor Kim, has been all over the Internet for His horrible and scary facelift results. Everyone is talking about how unusual the results look after a couple of days from the surgery and how unprofessional he is. The after-effects look very trippy and not right at all. People are even saying that he is more of a magician pulling tricks out of a hat and that his promise to transform his clients’ appearance and give them beauty is all a lie.
The Physician Dr Kim has over 216,000 TikTok followers and over 4 million views on his videos. In the clips, there are normal-looking middle-aged people who have films of before and after a week following the surgery, and their skin appears to be pulled back quite tightly.
Despite the efforts to locate Dr. Kim and try to connect them to clinics in Seoul and Shanghai, their identity is still unknown. Every one of his videos shows patient surgeries, which are mostly facelifts and procedures on the eyes like blepharoplasty and epicanthoplasty. Both of these try to remove bags and any extra skin around the patient’s eyes, which results in a younger look.
One of the videos showed a 46-year-old, and it had 6.3 million views. She had a chiseled Jaw, extended face, and much bigger eyelids. It looked absolutely unreal and not at all what she would have wanted.
One person said under a video, “Dr kim, if this is real, you screwed up”; “Enough your license is revoked”, someone else had commented. People were so concerned with his work and how he continued to do surgeries on people confidently and constantly.
Another person had said that he created monsters which is very accurate and appropriate to say in these cases as he almost dehumanizes these people. Some of these people look demonic and not even human-like. The patients’s faces are also frequently still bruised and swollen, and they haven’t even fully healed just 7 days following the surgery. The outcomes were seen in a video and were not pretty.
The President of British plastic surgery added, “A facelift doesn’t look as good or as natural as it could without a good, harmonious improvement in someone’s neck. We can tell immediately that something’s off if you have a good face but a bad neck.”
He let her explain how more complicated surgery is needed if they want the best possible results, which is someone who looks very natural and has nice jawlines or neck but doesn’t look like they had surgery, so it all just looks natural. This is all the opposite of what Dr. Kim has been doing and why all of his patients do not look good.
This basically all comes to show why you need to be careful about who you go to for surgery before you pay thousands of dollars to look like a nightmare.
