*Spoilers from Outer Banks Seasons 1, 2, and 3
The Pogues have everything to lose in the upcoming season! Netflix premiered the teaser of Outer Banks season 4 on Thursday. The Pogues will bring it on home, returning for more adrenaline-rushed action and treasure-hunting adventure this fall! The first part of Outer Banks, consisting of five episodes, will premiere on October 10, followed by the second fragment on November 7.
Outer Banks, Paradise on Earth, debuted on Netflix in April 2020. The Series comprises mystery, adventure, romance, action, and drama. As a result, it instantly became a hit for teens and adults! The series portrays the rivalry between two groups of people who live in Outer Banks, North Carolina: the upper-class “Kooks” and the working-class “Pogues.”
In particular, Rafe Cameron (Drew Starkey) recklessly murdered Sheriff Peterkin to gain approval from his father. Rafe’s dad, Ward Cameron, framed John B, a Pouge, for the murder of Peterkin, as he was present during the incident. Deputy Shoup believed Ward Cameron because he was immensely manipulative and of a high status. The police always believed the Kooks over the Pogues, no matter the situation. Therefore, John B. was sent to jail. His friends became frantic to bail him out because he was on trial for the death sentence. Rafe Cameron’s fingerprints were found on shells in the gun recovered from the sewer later on after John B’s arrest.
During the last episode of season 3, John B.’s father, Big John, was caught in a crossfire and got shot while looking for El Dorado. The Pogues, scared of loss, fought against the currents to bring Big John home as fast as they could. Although he held on for as long as he could, he was badly injured. As John B says his final goodbyes to his father, Big John ponders whether searching for the gold was worth the outcome. Besides the feud and sorrowful moments, there are many treasure hunts along the way, unexpected villains becoming heroes, heartthrob romances, and mysteries that will keep you on the edge of your seats!
After the Pogues, John B., Sarah, JJ, Kiara, Pope, and Cleo’s deadly hunt to be the only people claiming El Dorado’s gold, they return to the Outer Banks to start their “normal life”. Wes Genrette, a chef at Outer Banks, proposes a new treasure hunt to the Pouges, Blackbeard. After some financial setbacks and a new experience, the Pouges take Wes up on his offer to find Blackbeard’s treasure.
‘Chase Stokes’ John B. states, In the new teaser, “We finally did it; we finally found the gold,” summarizing the end of Outer Banks season 3.“That’s where the story should have ended. But really, it’s just the beginning,” John B. adds.
In the teaser, ‘Rudy Pankow’ JJ asks ‘Chase Stokes’ John B., “Nothing to lose?” John B. answers, “Nah, we’ve got everything to lose this time.” This keeps the OBX fans exhilarated for the new season!
