Introduction
Christmas is a widely celebrated holiday throughout the world. Not only for its gift giving and receiving gifts but also for the quality time you spend with your family and the fun parties and traditions you get to have. Many families have decimated the things that they do. Many families decorate together, watch Christmas movies, and do fun Christmas activities. It’s genuinely one of the best holidays because you can spend so much time with family and friends and do many fun things with it. I interviewed three girls and asked them what Christmas means to them. Then I wondered what traditions you follow every Christmas. What is your favorite part of Christmas?
Hailey Willams (12)
First, I interviewed Hailey Willams(12). I asked her what Christmas meant to her. She said Christmas means ¨eating well, giving and receiving, spending time with family, listening to music, and decorating.¨ A tradition she does is having her siblings do Secret Santa and opening their presents on Christmas Eve. Her favorite part of Christmas is the feeling of Christmas.The happiness and feeling of being with her family and friends. She loves the feeling of being able to give gifts to people.
Payton Fitzhugh(11)
Secondly, I interviewed Payton Fitzhugh(11). What Christmas means to her is childhood memories that she has made and spending time with her family. A tradition that she and her family have is to go to this place, which is a shop called Logan’s Candies. They get a warm candy cane, which molds into their desired shape. They also buy a family ornament yearly, so they have something to represent the year and their family. Her favorite part about Christmas is the Head Rush and the food. She likes to look forward to something in the morning. She loves seeing her family spend the whole day with her cousins and enjoy the time together.
Savannah Peace Peters(11).
Lastly, I interviewed Savannah Peace Peters(11). What Christmas Means to her is spending time with her loved ones and giving gifts. One of her favorite things to do is give. She feels like Christmas. She loves to do it because she gives people what they want. Next, one of her traditions is that every year, for Christmas, her family likes to watch Christmas Vacation together on Christmas Eve. Her favorite part about Christmas is the whole aspect of Christmas. Whether decorating the house, listening to Christmas music, ice skating, or spending time with family. She enjoys every moment with it because she gets to be with her family and enjoy the time of the year of gift-giving.
Conclusion
The whole aspect of Christmas is just being together as a family and spending time giving gifts to people. This time of the year brings out a lot of love and kindness in the world. People are gift-giving for Others. Many are spending time with family. The whole aspect of Christmas is doing special activities like ice skating and many Christmas activities that bring your family together. It’s the most essential thing during the holidays.
