With the start of 2025, many new establishments have officially come to Corona, and some are still making their way to opening. With several new town centers and an influx of new residents, Corona has invited more and more companies to bring their establishments to Corona residents. The public sees many new opportunities and activities in the town, from businesses like trampoline parks to Japanese discount stores. Let’s dive into what some of these new stores are!
One of the most significant new businesses soon to come to Corona is the latest EOS fitness center in the town center right off Bedford Canyon Road, next to the Quick Quack Car Wash. While Planet Fitness is located about five minutes down the road, many gym-goers are canceling their current memberships to make way for EOS instead. It has not opened yet but is said to be around summertime. The $9.99 membership is being advertised all over Corona, allowing future attendees to sign up already, even though the building is still being set up. So what else does this gym offer that people are canceling their existing memberships at other fitness centers? Well, aside from the low monthly price and the nonexistent enrollment price, it is said that this gym will offer customers more perks than gyms around the area with similar pricing. According to the EOS website, EOS Fitness, the gym offers group fitness classes, an included “recovery space,” an outdoor workout area, a cardio-cinema room, and, of course, your usual weight machines. EOS has several locations around California, particularly in the Orange County area, and many Corona residents are looking forward to seeing this gym officially open.
Additionally, Corona has decided to include a Daiso Japanese Store at the more popular shopping center, the Crossings of Corona. If you are unfamiliar with Daiso stores, they sell Japanese-inspired home goods, stationery, food items, makeup/skincare products, toys, and other amenities. This store is between Famous Footwear and Hot Topic in the Crossings off of Grand Oaks. With 6,000 stores across the globe and 150 in the United States, Daiso has become very popular in other locations. Hence, it is understandable why the City of Corona decided to add one in our town. People flock to Daiso for their unique goods and low prices.
In addition to these new establishments, Amazon Fresh has recently opened in the same Bedford Parkway shopping center as the incoming EOS fitness center. According to Healthline, Amazon Fresh offers customers a variety of accommodations such as fresh produce, home items, snacks, dairy, and a hot bar with prepared foods. It is said that low prices are consistent throughout the store. It is convenient for customers to have their carts scan their items for them and pay through their Amazon account. Since its opening on December 12th last year, it has become a popular spot for Corona residents to purchase groceries.
With all these new businesses opening in Corona, opportunities are expanding, and the town is becoming increasingly more convenient for the public. Check out these new locations!
