In the last month of 2024, Danielle Bregoli, better known as “Bhad Bhabie,” made an Instagram story calling out the daughter of Blink-182 drummer, Alabama Barker. She claimed that she and Alabama had been good friends for years, and she found out Alabama was going behind her back, hanging out with her boyfriend and the father of her daughter, Kali. She also said Alabama had lied and downplayed the situation, which made Danielle feel more lost and alone since she found this out while getting treatment for her ongoing cancer, which she was diagnosed with. Alabama completely denied every single allegation, saying the situation was a “joke” to her, and people are always quick to blame the girl in the situation over the man.
She followed up with her claim by posting screenshots between her and Le Vaughn, Danielle’s boyfriend. In these screenshots, she posted messages of her sending Le Vaughn his own Instagram, asking if it was him, which he denied. She posted this as proof to show she truthfully did not know who he was and, therefore, she was just a victim manipulated in this situation in her head. Danielle quickly proved her concept of the situation wrong by posting screenshots of her and Alabama, where she asked her if her boyfriend was at her house. She also pointed out she could have quickly figured out who he was because Le Vaughn has Danielle’s name on her neck. The drama between them got more serious when Danielle released a song about Alabama, publicly shaming her for intentionally entertaining men in relationships and being disrespectful to herself as a woman, as well as other girls in relationships, to get validation from men. Alabama then made a song called “Cry Baby,” where she continually defends herself and says Danielle needs to blame her boyfriend and stop pinning the situation on her completely.
The drama between them has continued for months, and Danielle recently released another song shaming Alabama. The song “Ms Whitman” shows Danielle looking like Alabama’s dad playing the drums while Danielle insults Alabama and mocks her. This situation is a prime example of how in society, girls are often more blamed and held accountable than men who owe respect and loyalty to their girlfriends. It is never okay to ruin anyone’s relationship, but ultimately, it’s one’s partner’s choice to ruin a relationship for someone else.
Rumors have also been going around about Alabama’s step-mom, Kourtney Kardashian, getting involved because of so many people threatening her family and her newly born son with Travis Barker. This has sparked controversy in this drama for Alabama’s family’s safety. This situation with Alabama and Danielle is a good example to young girls to not let drama with a man go this far. It will have a lasting effect on both of their images, and their families and mutual friends had to see them both drop the friendship.
