Last night’s choir performance by Crossroads High School was phenomenal! They performed many classic Christmas songs, and they incorporated multiple popular Christian songs. Many people in the audience loved the way the choir didn’t stand in one place the entire show. The performers filled the outside aisles, and they invited people to sing and walk with them around the inside of the Plex. Then after a few songs, the choir went up to the stage, but even then it was still very entertaining.

Many people in the audience also liked how the choir told the story of Christmas and sang songs that corresponded to the part of the story they were telling. An example of this was in the beginning when certain people narrated the part of the story when Mary was told she would be blessed by bringing the Son of God into the earth. Then a solo was sang by talented singer, Coryn McGowan, who sang a song coming from Mary’s perspective. Also, there were other very gifted soloists and choir members that gave incredible performances, such as Sarah Hoogenraad, Cole Hoogenraad, Rachel Welch, Shelby, Izzy Knox and many others.

The Crossroads High School choir really put the audience in the Christmas spirit! Their entertaining performance, which also included dancing to “Jingle Bell Rock”, and the hilarious ending, blew the crowd away.
