Emotion is a feeling every human being has inside them, whether it is rage, sadness, hope, joy, or any other form of feeling one can express.
Now emotion is a natural, instinctive state of mind derived from one’s circumstances, mood, or relationships with others. For example, when you speak to a friend or loved one you would probably feel joy and love. Yet when you see some one who harms others, you would feel rage and a need for vengeance. But what would the strongest emotion be out of the 72 that have been found, and what could cause that emotion to be so great?
In my personal opinion, I believe that distrust is the strongest emotion. The reason behind this is that no human being on Earth is truly truthful to another. We hide behind lies and controversy, not knowing what is real or unreal. What proof do we as humans have that our personas are not just one big lie made to make our lives easier to live?
Now another strong emotion is fear, which we all feel in our lives everyday. But what is fear? Is it just the feeling of being afraid of what goes bump in the night? Or is it that hidden feeling when someone meets his or her fated weakness? Fear is composed of all of that and more. Of those who know true fear, few can tell the story on how they overcame it.
Emotions are what drive us to be who we are supposed to be. They make us feel for one another and cause us to always want to live our lives to the fullest. However, not all emotions are good, but not all of them are bad either. When you find the grey spot of your emotions, there is neither good nor bad, just tranquility. Then you are truly human.
