Unless you missed as much school as me, graduation has been a long time coming. The hard work has finally paid off, and I truly hope you are taking in the last few days that we have at this school. Since we, as seniors do not get the opportunity to have a senior quote, I thought I would give some of those from the class of 2016 the chance to share. Whether it be funny, serious, or personal these small phrases have a significance to the students and represents their memorable time in high school.
So here it goes:
“This wasn’t like High School Musical at all” –Riley Eaves
“When in doubt, take a nap” – Ashley Young
“My dog ate my homework, so I ate him” – Andrew Raynes
“Sometimes I’ll start a sentence and I don’t even know where it’s going. I just hope I find it along the way” (Michael Scott) – Daylean Gargalis
“NO NO GOD NO NO” – Kayley Lanhardt
“If you ain’t first, you’re last” – Alex Kilzi
“Pepto Bismol” –Jamie Abughattas
“The only way to find happiness is to risk being completely cut open” – Valarie Amescua
“There are far, far better things ahead than any we leave” – Analicia Huerta
“The front office bathroom is nice” – Adam Muniz
“Don’t close your eyes because it’ll all be over before you can open them” – Sara Gergis
“I tried too hard” – Clayton Chiales
“I’m not gunna miss this school wifi” – Ryan Watkins
“You say king and queen, while I say Mr.(Paul) White and Mrs. Mitchell” – Alexis Vo
So seniors, congratulations on this milestone. Whether you’re going off to college or decided to take a year off, good luck on your next journey. Continue to work hard, make every single day count, and make as many memories as possible. Journalism wishes everyone the best of luck and we hope you enjoyed your last years at this incredible campus.
