10 Things To Do During Easter

Cassandra Semaan, Staff Writer

  1. Go on an Easter egg hunt.

You’re never too old to find some eggs, or put them out for the little kids to enjoy.

  1. Dye Easter eggs.

Every child’s favorite thing to wake up to. The fizzing tablets, the boiling eggs, the little tin egg holders, it’s great.

  1. Go to church.

Easter isn’t only about the fun. It’s also the celebration of Jesus’ resurrection, so go to church, or send a little prayer His way letting him know all your appreciation.

  1. Take pictures with the Easter Bunny at the mall.

Cause who doesn’t love a sweaty, smelly man with a creepy voice inside a terrifyingly happy bunny costume?

  1. Have a party

Parties are fun, and fun is good.

  1. Play the egg-crack game

So basically everyone picks an egg. Grab a partner (one v one) and one of you holds the egg upright and form a fist around it, while the other holds their egg and smacks it down on the other. Whoever’s egg cracks first is the loser, and you continue until only one person is left J.

  1. Watch religious movies

Passion of The Christ, Jesus of Nazareth, or even something more child appropriate like Hop, or Rise of the Guardians.

  1. Have a feast

Turkey, ham, steak, mashed taters, stir fry, rice, corn, etcetera.

  1. Visit with family

Invite everyone over for some bonding, plan a reunion, anything to keep the family together.

  1. Travel

Out of state, a town over, the mall two cities over. Going out is fun, and it keeps you active, out and about, and puts you in a good mood.
