- Brooke Walters (10) is a Sophomore at Santiago High
school and staff writer of the Shark News. She
enjoys journaling and writing of any type of subject
and is passionate about speaking her poems and
words out loud for others to hear. Outside of
journalism, Brooke competes in Karate and is an
advanced brown belt hoping to achieve to be a
black belt. She plans to study English in college. You
