Brooklyn Martinez(12) is a current senior at Santiago High School and plans to play college lacrosse and go to college next fall. Her interest in writing developed as she read more articles and was inspired to write her own piece. Over the summer, she taught kids how to swim, and she realized that helping kids develop a new skill helped open up opportunities for them by teaching them just how to swim. In her free time, she enjoys playing lacrosse for high school, playing soccer, and hanging out with her friends. In the future, she hopes to work in real estate and help people in many other ways. She also wants to help kids.
