Chelsea Herrera (9) is a current freshman at Santiago High School, where her favorite subjects are Language Arts and History. Even though she is an underclassman, Chelsea hopes to eventually pass all of her classes to achieve her dream of going to college and having a successful career. Her interest in writing started when she realized the fun of writing essays and papers at 12. When she is not busy, Chelsea helps coach and referee for AYSO soccer during the spring and fall seasons. She was enthusiastic about all the components of a successful soccer team. Coaching and helping out at soccer games helped her learn how much the skills of cooperation, communication, and patience come into play in more than just a soccer field. When she is not busy doing schoolwork and coaching teams, Chelsea often enjoys playing soccer for herself and hanging around her beloved friends.
