Natalie Elizarraraz

Natalie Elizarraraz, staff writer

Natalie Elizarraraz (12) is currently a senior at Santiago High School. She discovered her fondness towards writing in middle school and decided to take her interest more seriously in high school by taking at least one AP or honors class each year. In her junior year, she chose to take AP Language Arts and AP Seminar to improve her writing. In these classes, her writing improved, and she learned which types of writing she was better skilled in. She’s a very tenderhearted person and is delighted to volunteer when the opportunity arises. Although she doesn’t always have the time, she enjoys taking care of or being near animals. Outside of school, you can find her with her pets, her little sister, volunteering, or listening to her favorite music while drawing or painting. She is very curious about things that can reveal a deeper understanding. She enjoys exploring ideas that are overlooked. This curiosity has shaped her academic interest as she hopes to one day be a psychologist. Through her writing, she shares perspectives that help and encourage others to see the world in new ways. Her patience and attentiveness to detail allow her to connect easily with people. By merging her curiosity and her creative spirit, Natalie hopes to leave a positive impact on those around her.
