Zach Bryan and Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia’s relationship has been a hot topic for the year they’ve been together, but it certainly ended abruptly and with details that could possibly tarnish Bryan’s relationship. I mean, who wouldn’t pair up a Grammy-winning artist and the Barstool sports podcast host? However, the end of this relationship was not so fantastic. The couple broke up on October 22nd, 2024, and the messy details shocked fans.
Zach Bryan posted the closure of their relationship to his Instagram story, asking fans and followers for respect and privacy.“Brianna and I have broken up with each other, and I respect and love her with every ounce of my heart,” he said. “She has loved me unconditionally for a very long time, and for that, I’ll always thank her. “I have had an incredibly hard year personally and struggled through some pretty severe things. I thought it would be beneficial for both of us to go our different ways. I am not perfect, and I never will be. With everything I am and to anyone I let down, I am sorry. I try my best in everything. I failed people that love me and mostly myself”.
Brianna Chickenfry, however, didn’t appear to find this very appropriate, as she did not know his post was going up. She also took to her Instagram story, claiming that she felt “blindsided.” “Hey guys I’m feeling really blindsided right now. Gonna hop off social media for a while and attempt to heal privately; when I’m ready, I’ll be back and ready to talk,” she wrote. She followed up this post in a video shared on her Youtube account, explaining her side in tears. She claimed that Zach had not called her or texted her and that she was entirely unaware of the situation or the way that the breakup was going to be announced.
On October 31st, LaPaglia announced that she will be taking a break from her successful Barstool Sports podcast, co-hosted by Josh Richards and Dave Portnoy, the owner of Barstool, due to the recent split from Zach Bryan, claiming that she needs to “put her mental health first.” Portnoy made his stance very clear on “The Unnamed Show,” claiming the singer to be “a baby”. Portnoy doesn’t have a great impression of Bryan, even going so far as to dedicate Taylor Swift’s song “Smallest Man” to him.
Bryan also allegedly signed up for the celebrity dating app Raya before he and Brianna officially called it quits. Ryan Whitney, a former NFL player, even called this a “crazy move” and “dirty business.”
LaPaglia was offered a $12 million nondisclosure agreement from Bryan, and she turned it down to share the details of the emotional abuse she faced from him. She claims that more information will be released on the dirty details as soon as she recovers from the sudden heartbreak, but one thing is certain: Bryan’s reputation certainly depends on these anticipated details.
