In our world, social media plays a big role, and rumors spread like crazy. Skai Jackson has found herself caught up in the middle of a spiraling controversy. Jackson has become trapped in the middle of a vast social media controversy involving her baby’s daddy’s rude remarks about her and her late friend Cameron Boyce. Skai Jackson rose to fame for her role as “Zuri Ross” in a Disney Channel show called“Jessie “. She has also created a name for herself by acting, filming YouTube videos, and as an author. She’s a very skilled woman; many younger people view her as an encouraging role model.

Now that we know some background information on Skai Jackson, who even is her baby daddy? It is believed to be Deondre Burgin, who goes by the name of Yerkky Yerkky on social media. When Skai Jackson announced her pregnancy to the media on November 12, 2024, Yerkky wrote on Facebook “: “On wopp im salty I got this dumb a*s Disney Chanel b***h pregnant I hate this h*e.”   When Skai saw what he had said, she immediately came to his defense, saying, “His page was hacked! He never said this. End of story.” She wrote in the comments of the shade room,  Kiya Cole added, “HE NEVER SAID THIS !!!” and “Stop being messy.” They both added to his defense, saying that Yerkky had been hacked and that he would never say that. On top of Yerkkys’ Facebook quote, he also compared to Skais’s late co-star Cameron Boyce. Yerkky told the viewers to  “stop comparing me to a dead n—a.” and “What the f–k?” “Y’all keep comparing me to a n—a that’s dead.” Everyone wants to know why in the world he would bring up Cameron; there’s no need. Even though people had been saying they looked similar, he didn’t need to address them as disrespectfully as he did; it was and is entirely unnecessary.  As if all his unnecessary disrespectful comments were not enough, he gets arrested only two days later. On November 14, 2024, Yerkky found himself behind bars in Cincinnati, Ohio, according to an arrest report recorded by TMZ. On November 14th, 2024, Wednesday afternoon, Yerkky encountered a faceoff with the police. The arrest report says Cincinnati police officers tried to arrest Burgin on a juvenile parole violation warrant. Still, he ran off when confronted by cops and then fell, causing a small cut on his left cheek. It seems like Skai Jackson has chosen quite the guy!  Within a week, he definitely ruined whatever reputation he had in the media.

How has Skai Jackson’s fan base reacted to all this drama, especially to her pregnancy? To start, “Many fans emphasize the importance of ensuring her safety and the safety of her child, especially given Yerky’s concerning statements.” And I agree with the fans, mainly since there are already alleged domestic violence acts between Skai and Yerkky. But besides the point, many fans want what’s best for the star. Many fans are excited for her to start a family at 22. And all wish her a happy and healthy pregnancy.
