The iconic pop star Sabrina Carpenter has wrapped up the dazzling American leg of her ‘ Short n’ Sweet’ tour with unforgettable performances! Carpenter certainly knows how to entertain her audience, from engaging with fans to featuring surprise appearances by star performers. Sabrina’s unique combinations of pop, sharp humor, and dynamic stage presence made her performance a captivating experience, with Carpenter’s playful charm and heartfelt emotion. She enchanted her audience with a seamless mix of her greatest hits, brought to life through choreography, mesmerizing visuals, and her irresistible energy. Many of her U.S. shows sold out rapidly after the tickets officially went on sale in June.
Sabrina Carpenter kicked off her first act by running on stage wrapped in a towel, only to dramatically drop it to reveal a stunning corset bodysuit. She pretends to struggle as she reaches for her microphone while performing her song ‘Taste.’ Afterward, Sabrina performs ‘Good Graces’ and ‘Slim Picken’ by her cozy fireplace. She then transitions to her next song, ‘Tornado Warnings, ’ as she sits on a little couch designed to resemble a therapy session. Meanwhile, Sabrina picks up her guitar and performs an acoustic rendition of her song, ‘Lie to Girls.’ She made her way up the spiral staircase while singing ‘Decode,’ and closed her first segment by performing ‘Bed Chem.’ Dressed in a babydoll nightgown, she sang on a pink-lit circular bed, her stunning vocals stealing the spotlight.
Act 2 opens with Sabrina Carpenter strutting down the staircase in a black lace capri suit and a feather boa as she performs a Jazz interpretation of her song ‘Feather.’ Sabrina then performs her songs, ‘Fast Times ’ and ‘Read your Mind’, from her album emails i can’t send. She heads to her set restroom, sits on a heart-shaped toilet, and performs ‘Sharpest Tool’. Next, Carpenter approaches her illuminated heart mirror and sings ‘opposite.’ She then makes her way down the set to the main stage as she performs, ‘because i liked a boy’ and ‘Coincidence’. Although the “Nonsense Outros” has drawn to a close, Sabrina adds a playful twist with a “Spin the Bottle” game where she performs a surprise for her audience with a new cover at each concert. To wrap up this section, Sabrina performs her song, ‘Nonsense’. Instead of singing her signature outro at the end of the song, Sabrina jokes that her microphone malfunctioned as she disappears from the stage.
During the last act, Sabrina Carpenter makes a beautiful entrance in a shimmering two-piece top and skirt as she begins with her song, ‘Dumb & Poetic’. Following that, she changes over to perform her song, ‘Juno,’ as she gracefully heads to the heart-shaped centerpiece of the stage, where she is elevated into the air. Sabrina then steps off the set and walks back to the main stage to perform her next song, ‘Please Please Please.’ Soon after, she sits on the steps of the set, delivering a heartfelt performance of ‘Don’t Smile.’ To conclude the ‘Short n’ Sweet tour,’ Carpenter’s background dancers pretend to sleep as Sabrina teases her final performance of ‘Espresso.’
According to movin 92.5, Sabrina Carpenter posted on her Instagram, “That’s a wrap on the North American leg of the Short n’ Sweet tour!!!!! I have always dreamt of bringing this tour to life, but it was even better than I could have imagined because of every crowd that showed up and gave 100% of their energy and time, the best-dressed crowd on the market. These are the funniest signs I’ve ever seen; every lyric and background vocal sug to perfection. I could not ask for better fans…I love you so dearly. Thank you to my hard-working cast and crew, who make this show what it is. The attention to detail, professionalism, and every personality on and off the stage is what makes the SNS show so special. Cry because it’s over for now…but we can’t wait to see you in the new year Europe.”
