Elon Musk’s recent gameplay of the game ¨Path of Exile 2¨ has resulted in conversations with people calling him out for his suspicious gameplay. However, Elon Musk’s gameplay seems almost too good for a business CEO. According to Forbes, “Much of the scrutiny and disbelief surrounding Musk’s gaming prowess revolves around the time needed to become elite or high-leveled in the games he has played—time many people believe Musk does not have as the CEO of several successful companies.” Suspicion only grew when Elon Musk posted his build while playing “Eldin Ring,” with the caption alluding to his knowledge of the game. “Equipped load will be lower if [fast] roll is needed.”
Many have pointed out that Elon’s build looked subpar to what people saw. One “X” user pointed out that they “finally got Elden ring this past week and it’s crazy realizing just how bad Elon’s build was like nobody was exaggerating even a little.” Other people point out that “[they’ve] never played a Souls game but judging on the 68 intelligence and the 16 strength, [and how] might be the worst player on the planet,” and It’s not even, like, “hilariously bad” it’s just bad. I’m sure he just looked up the most powerful spell and power-leveled Int, thinking he could get it right away, and got carried through getting all his gear.” these are just some of the comments criticizing Elon’s choice of skills in the game.
Although many people question Elon Musk’s credibility as a true gamer, Elon still has stayed true to his word, claiming that he has a diverse knowledge of several games. Forbes had this to say,” Musk said in an appearance on the “Joe Rogan Experience” he was one of the top players in the world at “Diablo IV,” another action role-playing video game. He also posted a world record speedrun on one of the video game’s most difficult levels. Musk has also claimed he was one of the best players on Quake, a pioneering first-person shooter game developed in the 1990s.” however, in Elon’s newest playthrough of “Path of Exile 2,” famous streamer Asmongold called him out. “In Hoyt’s video, titled “Elon Musk is not getting away with this…” Hoyt suggests Musk may be paying someone to play and level up his account, saying Musk does not “need to pretend to be this elite, top, number one gamer to have people that like video games” respect him—though he did not provide direct evidence backing up his claim. He defended his gaming record by mentioning streams he has participated in “with the world’s best players.” However, he did not explain his disputed, high rank in “Path of Exile 2,” instead using his platform to say Hoyt “is NOT good at video games”—a community note
was later added to Musk’s tweet defending himself to note some of Asmongold’s gaming achievements.” At the same time, nothing has been blatantly proven; suspicion still fills the air with Musk’s explanation. If it does come out that he has somehow cheated, then that could destroy his whole reputation as a gamer. Further lying in this situation could potentially impact other parts of his online presence, such as his business, Tesla and SpaceX.
