In Iowa, they plan to arm their staff so their students can feel safe. Iowa is trying to protect its students at school. Iowa says that this is a big deal. They had to have a lot of conversations with the schools. Iowa is trying to see how they are going to arm their staff. This has been going on for 18 months. This is very serious to Iowa and the school.

This school is called Siouxland Christian School in Sioux City, LA. They want to increase their security because the particular reason for the circumstance is to keep their students safe. This demonstrates that they should or shouldn’t arm their staff and get more security. This is also challenging for Iowa and some school districts. They claim that this has to be done for students’ safety. The Siouxland Christian School is a high school. This school is also a private school. Iowa wanted to pray about the whole situation.

The arming staff includes teachers. Two schools already want to start doing it right now. The approved schools are called Sprit Lake School and Cherokee School District. They had to vote to see who thought it was a great idea. One school is already taking action on this big move. Iowa teachers could soon be allowed to carry firearms. They will be carrying firearms in school. You would have to have a permit to carry a gun. Teachers can also carry on college campuses. The schools want you to get training. They had to find insurance that would cover their policy.

Iowa Republicans unveil latest plan to arm teachers with guns

Why are they arming their staff? The schools are arming their staff because of a school shooting that happened in Perry School. This incident brought this decision up in Iowa. They are arming them because if a school shooter comes on campus, they can respond to the gunmen. The parents are very okay with this for their kid’s safety. The school trusts the staff and teachers with the firearm. Iowa Republicans unveil latest plan to arm teachers with …They will also have a bill to go with this. You would have to stay up on your training to continue to carry. You could also switch jobs by becoming a security guard at the school. This was a big surprise to teachers and staff. Teachers like this idea. This helps them feel safe and protects their students. They will be having more meetings about this to make sure this is what some schools want to do. This is very difficult because many things can go wrong with this decision. They armed people at schools with 8,000 students or more to have armed teachers and security guards. Iowa House committee offered House study bill 675. This would help the school allow teachers on campus with a permit for a weapon.

It was an excellent idea for them to arm their staff. I feel it could work for them to protect their students. This will also make the students feel safe at school. More security is needed. Hopefully, this helps people understand this more.
