Alina Duran (12) is a current senior at Santiago High School and attending college is her next step. As she has gotten out of her comfort zone, new opportunities have opened up. She has volunteered at the public library, continued playing the piano, and taken more dancing. Before applying for a job, Alina spent her time reading books, discovering new songs, and exploring astronomy. In the future, she hopes to continue her studies in law while starting a family-run café.
