Sorry: the game of sweet revenge, the board game being notorious for its apologetic punchline “Sorry!” has destroyed a plethora of relationships between friends, lovers, family, and more. However, it is all in good fun. Sorry was invented in the year 1934, the time of the Great Depression. Thus, those who had the ability to purchase the game could play, killing time and having fun with their loved ones.

The objective of the game is to have all four of your pawns reach your home base, the twist is that no two pawns may rest on the same space at the same time. If a pawn lands on a space where a pawn was already there, the pawn already on the space gets sent back home. The game has playing cards, and in each deck there are 45 cards, with no 6 or 9 cards, a 4 card is there, however it moves the pawn back four spaces, the highest card is a 12, and obviously, the iconic “Sorry!” card.

Sorry, being as old as it is, has always been in the category of board game classics, others being Monopoly, Chutes and Ladders, Scrabble, Yahtzee, etc. However to this day Sorry has remained as one of the most age friendly, easy, and less time-consuming board games. Most of all, it is one of the most suspenseful, thrilling, and fun board games, of all time.
