Legally Blonde and Old School star Luke Wilson was involved in a deadly Ferrari car crash Tuesday night February 13th. Professional golfer Bill Haas was in the Ferrari. The Ferrari was driving down North Chautauqua Boulevard at about 6:30. The driver of the Ferrari lost control and collided with two other vehicles before rolling over, one being Wilson’s Toyota SUV. Wilson was unharmed, however, the driver of the Ferrari was killed. Haas and another woman from one of the vehicles that was hit by the Ferrari were injured, and the woman is said to be in critical condition. Wilson dragged the woman out of the crash and helped her to safety. After the crash, Wilson was labeled a “hero” after assisting the woman out of the crash. Wilson said, “She was crying for help. She obviously didn’t know what was going on. She was very distraught.” Wilson was also worried the Ferrari might catch fire, and got her out as soon as possible. Sean Heirigs was a witness to the crash and said that the woman’s leg was stuck somewhere under the steering wheel, and Wilson helped her out of the car. Heirigs then told his daughter, who was with him, to notify the police and call 911. Both the woman and Bill Haas were both taken a nearby Los Angeles hospital. Heirigs would go on to praise Wilson saying; “He was calm. He was definitely a hero, [a] super nice guy.”  On February 15th, Bill Haas was released from the hospital. The driver of the Ferrari, who tragically died, was identified as 71-year old Mark Gibello. On Thursday, Wilson returned to his home in his wrecked Toyota SUV. Congratulations to Luke Wilson for his amazing show of heroism.
