Bob Saget

Bob Saget is an American stand-up comedian, actor, and television host. He is most known for his role in Full House playing Danny Tanner and on the CBS series How I Met Your Mother as narrator Ted Mosby. Unfortunately, he passed away on January 9, 2022. He was found dead at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Orlando. He passed away at the age of 65.

Cause of death 

According to a sheriff’s statement, it said, “The man was identified as Robert Saget and pronounced deceased on scene. Detectives found no signs of foul play or drug use in this case.” As part of his comedy tour, Saget was in Flordia. He performed Saturday night in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, according to tour dates pinned to his Twitter account. Around 4 p.m ET, the Sheriff’s Department and the Fire Department arrived at the hotel. Despite the fact that he has been pronounced dead on the scene the cause of his death is still unknown. According to TMZ, they think the famous comedian died as a result of a medical emergency such as a heart attack or stroke.  However, it could take up to 10-12 weeks for the autopsy report to be completed. When he was found his left arm was crossed on his chest, while his right arm rested on the bed. Saget was supposed to check out of his room on Sunday, and when his family couldn’t reach him, they phoned the hotel security staff, who dispatched a security officer to his room, according to the sheriff report. “All the lights were out as security officer Jody Lee Harrison entered the room. According to the report, Harrison discovered Saget on the bed and cold to the touch.”  Saget was pronounced dead just before 4:20 p.m. ET. According to the report, his room key indicated he had entered the room shortly before 2:20 a.m ET.     

Impact of his death

Bob Saget’s untimely death at the age of 65 serves as a reminder of his influence on television and stand-up comedy. But what did his death mean to celebrities as they remember him as “America’s most memorable dad.” John Stamos wrote on Twitter, I am broken. I am gutted I am in complete and utter shock. I will never ever have another friend like him. I love you so much, Bobby.” Comedy Central also paid tribute saying “Bob Saget was a beloved and boundary-pushing comedian. He’ll be missed.There were other cast members who paid tribute to Saget by writing on Twitter.
