Girls Golf Makes CIF for the 4th Time!

Girls+Golf+Makes+CIF+for+the+4th+Time%21

At Jurupa Hills Country Club in Riverside on Monday the 2nd, the Lady Sharks shot a total of 416, but unfortunately landing in 7th place. Sarah Ki (11) led the team with a score of 79 and Captain Alexi Fair (12) had a score of 85. Although these scores were good, only the top 3 teams move on. Congratulations to Walnut, Palm Desert, and Temecula Great Oak!

Out of the 8 girls that made the 2015 All-Big VIII League team, Santiago held 4 of those spots. Sarah Ki, Alexi Fair, Jenni Queller (11) and Jessica Alcantara (11) represented our school fantastically. Good job, ladies!

“Season went great, as a team we played really well together. The girls improved and worked hard. Overall we had some great numbers and can proudly say we have four consecutive league titles. So it went good,“ said Alexi Fair.

Congratulations Sharks on making it to CIF for the fourth consecutive time, along with being league champions those years as well.
