Recently, two pranksters tricked the North Korean government into letting them enter a major tournament. Once the truth came to light, they were long gone and now the country in question is demanding them to return in order to apologize.

Evan Shay and Morgan Ruig from Brisbane, Australia were on a polo trip to China when, jokingly, they sent an email claiming to be professional golfers. To their surprise, they received a response from the tournaments organizers.

Deciding to go along with it, they found a tailor in Beijing who was able to make them official- looking green jackets. Everyone thought they were the real deal…until they played. In the end they only managed to best the teenage daughter of another country’s ambassador. Reportedly their caddy told them that their playing would “bring shame to their families”.

Now the North Korean government is demanding for them to return to the capitol in order to apologize on national TV. In response, both gave a firm  “Yeah, no…we won’t be doing that any time soon” and “Years of hard labor in a North Korean prison doesn’t exactly appeal.”
