Britney Spears is facing accusations from her ex-husband, Kevin Federline. He has alleged in a new book that Spears used cocaine while breastfeeding their newborn son. Federline is also claiming Spears held a knife while watching their children from a doorway.
Federline claims
Spears and Federline’s divorce was finalized on July 30, 2007, with him taking custody of both their children. It all seemed to have come to an end for Spears, but it was only the beginning.
Federline’s book, “You Thought You Knew,” was published on October 25th. Criticism of Spear’s past behavior around the children and her overall well-being were hot topics throughout the book. He also stated that this is why their children did not want to visit her because of the trauma she inflicted.

Since the book’s publication, Spears has been bombarded with questions and pleas for answers. Spears has denied the allegations against her and is accusing her ex-husband of being manipulative. Spears has stated that she wants a relationship with her sons, but has not received the same desire from them. Spears also said that Federline is trying to make a profit off of her and make her sound like an unfit mother. Spears ended her statement saying, “I will always love them… if you really know me, you won’t pay attention to the tabloids of my mental health and drinking. I am actually a pretty intelligent woman who has been trying to live a sacred and private life the past five years. I speak on this because I have had enough, and any real woman would do the same.”
Kevin’s evidence
Currently, there is no solid proof that Federline’s words are true. Federline has said that his son, Preston, would return home disturbed after staying at Spear’s house. He said he can recall nights when, after Spears dropped their son off, he would cling to him and cry. He has also said that Spears would engage in physical violence with him when he would put his foot down, such as slapping and throwing drinks at him. Federline also stated that the final straw had been when he recounted a phone call from Spears, Paris Hilton, and Lindsay Lohan during the infamous “Bimbo Summit” in 2006. He claims the trio called him in a drunken state while their children cried in the background, which solidified his decision to leave the marriage.

Apart from Federline’s words, there has been no evidence or claims from others to corroborate his version of events. Some are questioning the timing of the book, as he has not made any of these accusations in earlier court hearings or interviews. Federline’s most significant point, it seems, is that his kids are his top priority, but when it comes to parenting, it is important to address concerns immediately.
