“Mockingjay: Part 2” the finale of “The Hunger Games” series had everyone on the edge of their seats throughout the entire movie.
Realizing the stakes are rising for the districts, Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) teams up with her closest friends including Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson), Finnick Odair (Sam Claflin), and Gale Hawthorne (Liam Hemsworth) for the ultimate mission. Together, they finish the rebellion against the Capitol with the help from citizens in every district. Lying ahead of them are dangerous traps, peacekeepers, and choices that will determine the future for the country of Panem. After many sad losses on the way, Katniss confesses that it was not a “secret order” but a suicide mission to kill President Snow. Knowing all along, her friends and military squad continued with her. Gale and Katniss separate from the group and head towards the city square on their own to face the biggest threat; the Capitol.
The acting in this finale of “The Hunger Games” franchise seemed to be very well put together by the leading roles. The writers made the plot believable by elaborating on the cinematography and how the backgrounds were portrayed. This made every scene even more intense and intriguing to watch.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part Two is crossing the $300 million mark at the worldwide box office making it as big a hit as everyone expected it to be.
