One of the best parts of the holiday is all the delicious holiday treats that come back on the menu every December. Starbucks is one of the most popular brands in 2023, and every year, people look forward to their holiday drinks! They offer their holiday drinks and treats from November 2nd through the end of the year. This year, their classic winter drinks are back: Peppermint Mocha, Caramel Brulée Latte, Chestnut Praline Latte, and Iced Sugar Cookie Almondmilk Latte. Customers were sad to see the Toasted White Mocha was no longer on the menu this year, but a new drink was added to the menu, which was the Iced Gingerbread Oatmilk Chai Latte. Throughout the month, I have tried every winter drink, and I will rank each drink from my favorite to my favorite.
- Peppermint Mocha
This peppermint Mocha has been a staple on the menu for years and is an all-around favorite. Unfortunately, I desperately wanted to love this drink, but it was just too strong of a peppermint taste, in my opinion, and the pieces of peppermint were not very enjoyable. It is also not delightful iced or hot, though I highly recommend it if you love a minty taste,
2. Chestnut Praline Latte
I was shocked at this drink; it was a lot sweeter than expected, but it had an overly nutty flavor to me. It tasted too much like an artificial flavoring drink compared to the other holiday drinks. I would not order this drink again and would choose something else.
3. Iced Sugar Cookie Almondmilk Latte
I was extremely excited to try this drink out after hearing excellent reviews from friends and social media, but unfortunately, it was just very bland to me and had too much of a coffee taste rather than a blend of flavor; if you are a hardcore coffee lover I recommend it, and I recommend you order it with there sugar cookie cold foam for a more flavorful taste.
4. Caramel Brulee Latte
Next up, the second to first would have to be the caramel brulee late. This drink was highly flavorful and was an unexpected favorite, especially as a hot drink rather than cold. And as a fellow caramel lover, I would highly recommend this drink.
5. Oatmilk Gingerbread Chai/Gingerbread Oatmilk Latte
Lastly, this Oatmilk Gingerbread chai/Latte has to be hands down the number one on the list; this is a cozy, sweet drink with cinnamon sprinkled on top. I recommend this drink without the whipped cream and prefer the latte version rather than the Chai, although both flavors are delicious.
Now, I have ranked each Starbucks drink from least to best favorite; although everyone has opinions, I hope my ranking will allow you to try something new. I can hardly wait for next year to try all their new holiday drinks and treats! Let us know in the comments below which Starbucks holiday drink is your favorite!
