Winter Fest 2024 (Students Opinions)

Winter Fest is an event students look forward to this winter, as tickets were sold for three dollars, and activities included slime making, a petting zoo, jumpers, a train ride, and sledding. There were also food vendors, and FCA was selling donuts!

Student’s expectations of Winter Fest:

Leyla Harleen (9): “I think Winter Fest is going to be fun and exciting, and I cannot wait to see the petting zoo.”

Jacob Perez (9): “I think it will be lots of fun, and there may even be some snow. Who knows..!”

Jocelyn Calva (9): “I feel like it is going to be good, and there is a lot of good food, good bounce houses, and petting zoos!”

Student’s opinions of Winter Fest:

Rayan Tuggle (10) “Winter fest is cool; it’s definitely there, it’s something…!”

Madison Bailey (9): “Right now… I don’t know. I just got here; I’m freezing. I like the petting zoo.”

Admin: “I think it’s great! It’s cold, but more people keep coming; it’s good!”

Giselle Perez  (9): “Honestly, I think Winter Fest looks a lot like Shark Fest, and from my personal experience, Shark
Fest was way better than Winter Fest. It was something, and appeal-wise, it was Dookie.”

Kaylie Morgan (9) “Uhmm, it kinda sucks a**, and the petting zoo is kinda lame along with the train ride. It sucked, but it was something.”

Xilatntai Angeles (9): “It’s boring and did not meet my expectations. There is nothing to do.”

The Highlight of Winter Fest was most likely the petting zoo pictured on the left; from what I could tell, there was always a line, and the workers were excellent along with the animals. They were well-trained, calm, and gentle, which made me think about getting a bunny. Everyone was buzzing about it.

The second most popular thing to do was the Train Ride pictured here. It was the most popular thing, and many people rode, but it was mediocre. It was ok.

This event had mixed reviews, but I would say it was great!
